The formation of the exercise of the Chinese teaching material is the most important for student's Chinese proficiency. According to the statistics of the inquisition and consulting the document data, the author thinks the design of the current Chinese exercise and the using still have very big improvement space. Regarding 《 New Senior Chinese 》 of People's Education Press as research object, taking" how to design and use the practice system of the teaching material effectually" as the topic, the author writes this thesis.The thesis has enumerated the historical development stage of the high school Chinese exercise design and several major points about the exercise design of the teaching material experts in recent years. The author has pondered it over and elaborated own viewpoints. The author sums up and evaluate the existing system of 《 New Senior Chinese 》 of People's Education Press .So the author thinks the exercise design of 《 New Senior Chinese 》 of People's Education Press has its original superiority, also has some deficiency.What about the using situation of the high school Chinese exercise. The author selected three provinces and cities, some students in different grades in three key high schools to investigate by questionnaire and also counted the result. The author also has carried on the certain analysis to the result.How to design the Chinese exercise in high school more scientifically and more adoringly for the students to train the Chinese language ability, to enhance the Chinese language accomplishment? The author made the rational thinking about this and used language philosophy of education theory, Chinese educational psychology theory, Chinese teaching material theory and study theory. All that is to foreshadowing the firm theory base for new exercise design pattern. Its core is "taking the students as the basement, developing their abilities, training accomplishment, creating the greatest value"As the thesis' center, the final research result is to design a new pattern for Chinese exercise in high school .The author calls it "four modules". Taking the elementary knowledge, the thought quality, the Chinese language ability and the life practice as a core, the exercise mode is corresponding to accumulation, training, exercise and application. The author tries to design four units exercises. The goal is to change the teachers' and the students' teaching method totally by changing the design idea.Finally the author puts forward some proposals about exercise using for the teachers and the students and hopes the teachers and students can use the teaching material exercise effectively to obtain more remarkable result.
