As one of the most effective philosophy thoughts, contemporary hermeneutics relates to many domains such as literature, sociology and so on. Consequently, literary hermeneutics , sociological hermeneutics have come into being. Contemporary hermeneutics has really become an interdisciplinary combination of theory and practice. It has all along concerned comprehension and explanation of meaning, and it has the same core as senior middle school Chinese reading teaching. This article analyzes the course , characteristics in working out text meanings by using contemporary hermeneutics .Basing on this theory ,the writer points out the difficulties in senior middle school Chinese reading teaching and according to the Chinese reading teaching aims and requirements made by "Chinese Course Criterion of Common Senior Middle School" ,he puts forward the solutions of transforming reading teaching conception, founding text meaning creation thought, advocating multi-dimensional reading angles, building preceding-structure of comprehension, paying much attention to interlocution and communication, promoting visual scope melting in comprehending. In this paper, the writer tries to explore a new way for senior middle school in Chinese reading teaching.
