On The Study Of College Students' Enterprise Education

This thesis mainly discusses the necessity of the college students' enterprise education under the conditions of changing society and newly developing education guidelines of the party.Carrying out enterprise education caters for the need of the new millennium for the higher education in our country, and it is the only alternative higher education has on its way to popularization, and as well the result of a reflection upon the present conditions of the Chinese college students' establishing their own businesses in our country.Nowadays college students are facing an increasingly difficult and competitive job market, so encouraging them to establish their own businesses, as a solution to the employment difficulties, has been receiving more attention from the government and all walks of life in the society. In an age of knowledge economy the task of higher education is not merely to accommodate the needs of the job market passively, but to adapt to the transition of the society, and to train large numbers of graduates who can establish their own businesses to create new employment posts for the society.At present there are three problems in the college students' effort in establish their own businesses: first, they lack sufficient innovative abilities; secondly, they do not have sufficient funds to base their new businesses on; and thirdly, they are faced with such questions as how to confront the difficulties, setbacks and failures in establishing new businesses of their own. Many of them do not have adequate psychological qualities to fully evaluate the risks of starting new businesses of their own or bear the blow when there is failure. What is even worse, the Chinese college students in general lack the abilities needed to establish new businesses, such as creative abilities, abilities of management and leadership, and spirit of making great effort in difficult conditions. The cultivation of these abilities and spirit is undoubtedly a challenge to the traditional education. The goal of enterprise education is to enhance the students' comprehensivequalities, raise their awareness of making innovations, and cultivate their creative spirits and abilities. Putting enterprise education for the college students into practice calls for a reform to the present ways of educating and teaching students in colleges and universities so as for the schools to adapt to and promote the carrying out of enterprise education.Higher education is the result of the development of the human society. It originates from the needs of the society and its development depends on the social needs as well. Therefore, when there is a change in the social needs, higher education must adapt to the social change and change with the society. The education of innovative talents on large scales helps to enhance the development of China's advanced productive forces, and to represent the orientation of the development of China's advanced culture and the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people in China, thus it reflects the requirements of the theory of "three represents."This thesis can be divided into six parts. It mainly discusses scientific orientation of the college students' enterprise education under the conditions of changing society and newly developing education guidelines of the party, the present situation of the Chinese college students establishing their own businesses, and the significance and methods of carrying out the college students' enterprise education, and as a conclusion the author calls on the whole society to give more attention to the college students' activities of starting new businesses of their own, and calls for a strengthening of the enterprise education of the whole nation so as to create a good social atmosphere for the students' innovative activities. The significance of this research lies with two aspects: first, to serve the implementation of the education guidelines of the party; secondly, to get the enterprise education in the Chinese colleges and universities to develop with the time so as to provide a better guide for the college students in establishing their own businesses.
