Study On Practice-Learn-Research Combined Education Model

Practice-Learn-Research Combined Education (PLRCE) is a kind of effective education style which combines theoretical learning and practical experience together to train practical talents. This model complies with Chinese high education reform tide and conforms to global high education development trend, it has made great progress in China after more than ten years' research and experiences. It will make important impact on current university reform to impulse PLRCE to be applied widely and to deepen the PLRCE research in China.Focusing on the theme of improving student's all-round quality, pushing reform on the system of running university, this text gives theoretical study and experimental research on the education style of training talents and on the model of effectively running university. In theoretical study, this text explores the political, social and economical background which gives rise and develops PLRCE based on PLRCE history;studies the conception and basic contents of PLRCE;defines its basic characteristic;makes general conclusion on PLRCE in China;compares it with foreign counterparts;and offers some key problems which shall be solved in PLRCE future development.In experimental research, this text makes practical study on universities with different type or level to take PLRCE, especially study the PLRCE model to train all-round quality talents and its result.In recent years, the function of PLRCE in training innovative talents has been taken more and more attention from universities and education management bureau, some research topics have been concluded in national "ninth five plan" and "tenth five plan". Meantime, Chinese education management bureau selected 28 universities with different styles or levels to take PLRCE as test and had good result. In some points, PLRCE will play more and more important role in training innovative talents.
