The Build Of Safety Valve Mechanism On Harmonious Doctor-patient Relationship In Social Work Perspective

The current doctor-patient relations are complicated, and the contradictions and conflicts between doctors and patients are increasing. The extreme events that caused by the upgrading contradiction occur frequently, with the fact that it has intensified. Doctor-patient conflicts caused by the vicious incident hurt both sides in the conflict, influencing the medical and social order, and become a big tumor of social development. How to build an effective mechanism to resolve conflicts between doctors and patients so as to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship has been the focus of the society.The doctor-patient contradiction in our country is much coordinated by administrative departments. And only when the contradictions between doctors and patients intensified to conduct battle as of the escalation of the conflict, do the authorities begin to intervene. The traditional doctor-patient relationship approach with the feature of unity, authority and hysteresis can not deal with the doctor-patient relationship effectively. It is urgent to build a complete intervention mechanism to effectively deal with the doctor-patient relationship and to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.This paper based on the view of conflict probes into the current doctor-patient relationship in our country, analyzes the characteristics of over three periods of the doctor-patient relationship that include establishment, development and the end, summarizes the shortages of the traditional doctor-patient relationship approach on the basis of empirical research about P hospital in the city of W, and explore the necessity, feasibility and detailed intervention paths of social work to build a safety valve mechanism in the doctor-patient relationship, combined with the professional characteristics of social work. The safety valve mechanism established functions mainly through the effective use of social philosophy, professional methods and techniques to make good to conflict prevention, resolution and rehabilitation of doctor-patient conflicts in the entire development process. It gives real-time dynamic adjustment to imbalanced doctor-patient interaction to avoid the adverse effects of the doctor-patient conflicts or minimize the bad influence of doctor-patient conflicts. The specific path of social work intervention in doctor-patient relationship to eliminate conflicts between doctors and patients as follows:At the start of the doctor-patient relationship conflict, social workers commit to resolve the conflict by eliminating the hostility between the two sides, so as to promote the rehabilitation and reconstruction of trust relationship. When the doctor-patient conflicts intensified, social workers take the measure of crisis intervention. After the conflict, social workers give humanistic care to patients and doctors in order to repair their heart damage suffered in the process of conflict, and strengthen the doctor-patient relationship, promote the doctor-patient communication and interaction to repair the rupture of doctor-patient relationship.The safety valve mechanism built by social work which focuses on conflict in the whole process of the "conflict prevention period","conflict resolving period" and "conflict aftermath period" can effectively control the doctor-patient relationship development process, and timely solve conflicts between doctors and patients, promoting the harmonious development of the doctor-patient relationship.
