Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, this paper explores the background and reasons for the present situation of middle school math teaching websites. Based on this, the author gives some suggestions to throw light on the future development of math teaching websites in middle schools.The whole paper can be divided into five chapters.Chapter One put forward the question and points out the significance of the intended study based on the analysis of available literature.Chapter Two covers the design and methods of the research, including the procedures, objectives, instrument of the study as well as the analysis and processing of the data.Chapter Three is a qualitative analysis of the math teaching website in middle schools, involving its properties, functions and classification. The chapter also contains a study on middle school math teaching websites in America.Chapter Four is a quantitative analysis of middle school math teaching websites. It begins with an analysis frame based on the study mentioned in Chapter Three. Then the math teaching website is researched in perspective of its basic information, designing art, teaching resources and technique.Chapter Five comes to a conclusion that the math teaching website has become part of math teaching and has certain effect;however, there is still no clear purpose and general plan for the website construction since most of these websites are based on the traditional teaching-centered mode. The author analyzes the underlying reasons and gives some suggestions on future website construction at the end of this chapter.
