One important contents of the language teaching is, to teach the students the academicsociety to read, to let the student get in touch with a great deal of language material, obtainknowledge in the reading practice and academic association thinking, making them haveindependent reading ability, get shaped-emotion and appreciate beauty by enjoy reading. Butthe traditional teaching mode can't let the student carry out real reading, so the educatorsbegin to look for a new teaching method actively. Teaching Reading in Chinese with the Helpof Annotations (TRCHA) arises at this historic moment, it introduces the traditionalcommentary reading method into to the language teaching in middle school, reformed itcombining with the actual circumstance of the students, teachers and reads material, the aimof it is to improve the reading ability of the students' independence and carry out the realreading. It is a really practical teaching method. At present, some primary and junior schoolteachers have already developed the practice of TRCHA, but because of some conditionalrestrictions, this way of reading hasn't yet full popularized. According to this situation, basedon the "TRCHA" educational experiment of the High School Attached to Northeast NormalUniversity, by inspecting on-the-spot, interviewing teachers and reading cultural heritage, thisarticle will try to explain the content and value of TRCHA from theories, put forwardcorresponding implementation strategy from the practice, hoping it will provide help topopularized this new reading teaching method.The thesis is composed of three parts:Part One: Introduce the content and the foundation of TRCHA, including its theoriesfoundation and history foundation.Part Two: The value of advocate TRCHA on the background of the new Coursestandard .Mainly from the theories and practical functions two aspects.Part Three: The implementation strategy of the Teaching Reading in Chinese with theHelp of Annotations (TRCHA). Discuss how to carry out the TRCHA based on the inspection,interviewing and the cultural heritage research.
