It is an undoubted fact that the teaching of reading both bears a profound culturalvalue and a spiritual meaning , and therefore is closely related to the ways people live. One important contents of the language teaching is , to teach the students the academic society to read , to let the stndents get in touch with a great deal of language material , obtain knowledge in the reading practice and academic association thinking , making them have independent reading ability , get shaped–emotion and appreciate beauty by enjoying reading .so reading teaching plays an important part in Chinese teaching , in other words , it,s the key to Chinese teaching . Reading Teaching calls for and regulates that the Teaching of Reading in Chinese (TRC)should be redefined as part of the new curriculum reform.Traditional teaching method of reading can,t offer the students a real reading ,so I have adopted a method of Teaching Reading in Chinese with the Help of Annotation (TRCHA) in Chinese teaching of senior high school. The reformed teaching follows the principles of developing students, individualities, paying attention to the particular feelings and experiences in reading and encouraging a creative way of reading from different angles. It,s a method in which teachers and students, aided with their experience in life, probe deep beneath the surface of the text and read between the lines .Meanwhile , they should make annotations of various kinds about their respective and particular feelings. Seen from the aesthetic ponint of view, it is a method in which the readers decipher the text by giving full play to their subjective initiatives, lending wings to imaginations and employing various kinds of abilities of thinking.TRCHA is aimed at improving the students'independent reading ability. While reading and exploring for themselves, the students accumulate actively, understand and research freely and learn in dependently, it helps develop healthy specialties in reading, forms healthy personalities and establish rich and colorful qualities of emotions and characters. TRCHA is a really practical teaching method. At present, some primary and junior school teachers have already developed the practice of TRCHA, but because of some conditional restrictions, this way of reading hasn't yet been fully popularized. Exploring deeply into the current situation of our TRC, the article probes and discusses the theoretic foundation of TRCHA and its concrete implementation, hoping it will provide help to popularize this new reading teaching method.The article consists of three parts.Part one: The reason why TRCHA is put forward. Demonstration of the necessities of the subject TRCHA by reflecting seriously on our current situation of TRC, the requirements of the curriculum reform, the psychological, development of senior high school students and its history foundation.Part two: The concept and theoretic foundation of TRCHA . Explanation of the subject's theoretic foundation in the points of view of relevant theories of constructivism and acception aesthetics.Part three: The implementation of TRCHA in Chinese teaching of senior high school, which can be divided into four parts:1.The principles should be followed when we carry out TRCHA.2. The teaching process of TRCHA.3. The teaching method of TRCHA.4. Some questions should be paid attention to in each step.
