With the new-round outspread use of curriculum reformation on basic education in highschool, Guang Dong Province compiles the book New Senior Chinese for Students. When weuse the new book we find some none-Chinese trends appear in the Chinese class. In order tofind out the causes of these none-Chinese trends, the writer does a research on the Chaisesfeature of the book.. First of all, the writer clearly defines Chinese feature and Chinese featureof the teaching material. Then he analyzes the Chinese feature in three aspects: the holisticeffects of the book;activity system, homework system. Trough the analysis we can draw thefollowing conclusion: Surely we can find the Chinese feature in the book New Senior Chinesefor Students, but there are still some none-Chinese factors, so the Chinese characteristic is not100%. For the sake of making good use of this book, we have to avoid the shortcomings, digout the Chinese factors and spotlight the Chinese feature.
