Self-organization theory has had the huge influence since its birth, and seeps to each domain rapidly. The paper has an innovative exploration in the application of valuably self-organization methodology in instruction design field. Instruction system design is for the direction practical teaching practice, solving the concrete teaching problems. If instruction design wants to create conditions that learners long for the learning and each of them is full of enthusiasm to study, it must take the law of self-organization rules of learning in teaching system as the basis. Probing into instruction design under the organization theory field of vision not only to be perhaps, but also is extremely essential.The paper attempts to apply the self-organization methodology to reinterpret the instruction design process, and establish corresponding instruction design thought tentatively. It changes the current instruction design limitation that introducing the thought of self-organization theory into the process of instruction system design, and provides a new thinking about the establishing instruction design mode to better solution teaching problems. It has extremely high directive significance for instruction design field jobholders' design work, as well as the general teachers'understanding and grasp of the principle of instruction design.The paper elaborates related concept of the self-organization theory at first, and points out the predicament that instruction design theory faces at present, and then probe into the feasibility that application self-organization theory to instruction teaching design, expound the characteristic of instruction design under self-organization theory, and carried on the elementary instruction design built under this thought. Finally after has analyzed the current teaching design research tendency, the paper has forecast the instruction design possible future.Introduction of new theories and new ideas must be adjust the instruction design inevitably in the certain degree, accordingly to fluctuate some certain theoretical foundation of traditional instruction design, which provides research for the instruction design diverse perspectives and horizons.
