This article describes the experiments of reform of lesson hour and the problems following it. Then the author analyses the reform from theoretical view and makes empirical study on them. Finally, the author makes objective evaluation to the results and carries on detailed explain about the advantages and disadvantages of reform of lesson hour.This article is divided into four chapters as the following:The first part is introduction. In this part, based on the analysis of present situation of the experiments of reform of lesson hour, the author proposes the meanings of this reform,which analyzed through three points, including policy, the essence of reform of lesson hour and its present situation, and describes the methods of this research.The second part explains the theoretical resources of this reform. From the views of Psychology, Pedagogy and Educational Technology, the author analyses the necessity and possibility of this reform.The third part is the description and analysis of a case reform. This part is the main part of the article. According to the experiment research data in M Primary School, the author analyses the influence of the reform on student achievements, teachers and the students' attitudes and behaviors, school-based lessons, and analyses the problems theoretically expressed from phenomena.The fourth part is discoveries and discussion of this research. From the case study, the author discovers the advantages and disadvantages of reform of lesson hour in the development of schools.
