In recent years, the rapid increase in the proportion of overweight and overweight in young children and the persistently declining phyical quality are worrying. In person,it is really diffcult to improve the quality of too many sports in rural primary and middle schools owing to lacking professional teachers,cash,eqipment and so on. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of rural primary and middle school sports activities in Chengdu city every day, in order to promote the sustainable development of rural primary and middle school physical education in Chengdu, and to improve the quality of students in rural areas.In this paper, we use the methods of literature survey, questionnaire survey,experts" interviews, field test, and other methods of mathematical statistics. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 3400 students and 73 physical education teachers from 10 districts or counties of Chengdu City, and some of the rural primary and secondary school principals, district (county) sports research staff, experts interview, related administrative department leadership,from the all aspects of physical education, sports activities, extracurricular sports activities, school organization management, site equipment, sports teachers, students'family influence and students'sports cognition.,which will provide a reference to the school physical education in rural primary and secondary schools in Chengdu to carry out the activity where students can take exrcise an hour a day.The results of this paper are shown in this paper as follows:1, Campus sports event management agencies that rquire exercise every day one hour have been set up in Chengdu rural primary and secondary schools, but some parts of the school work is not in place, time is not guaranteed, the process is random, the effect is not evaluated.2, The overall quality of physical education teachers in Chengdu rural primary and middle school is not high;however,the workload is large, the ability of scientific research is weak.Luckly, all districts in Chengdu city including counties are taking active measures to improve the overall level of physical education teachers in rural primary and secondary school.3, The sports activities of primary and middle schools in Chengdu city were mainly based on traditional sports events. And teaching organization is mainly concentrated in the form a class,which is difficult to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to participate in sports activities and the quality of sports activities. Parts of the rural primary and middle schools began to try sports reform--- the new and national traditional sports events are introduced into the school basical curriculum, take the class teaching and optional class teaching to arouse students interest such as Tai Chi, sports dance and other major after-class activities, which inject new energy to school sports. The phenomenon of that rural primary and secondary school students like sports but dislike physical education clsses is changing..4, The filds of the primary and middle schools in Chengdu rural areas can basically meet the students' need, but the lack of sports equipment and sports equipment which are not added timely seriously affect the development of sports activities.5, The absence of supervision and assessment lead to the problems that the implementation of the national policy is not in place and that the reform and innovation of sports activities are not put into practice in the course of taking exercise one hour each day in Chengdu City,as well as rural primary and middle school sports activities. The absence of incentive and accountability mechanism leads to the repressed enthusiasm and initiative of the primary and middle school teachers in rural areas,which has a bad effect on the development of rural primary and middle school sports activities one hour a day.Root through the analysis of the status quo, to explore, take positive and effective measures, by strengthening the local government department an hour each day in rural primary and middle schools sports supervision assessment; To strengthen the school an hour each day sports organization system of management; To strengthen the construction of an hour each day campus sports teachers; Strengthen an hour each day campus sports content and teaching mode reform; Strengthen an hour each day campus sports field equipment configuration and use; Strengthen an hour each day campus sports propaganda guidance, earnestly implement the rural primary and middle school an hour each day of chengdu campus sports activities, to improve students' physical fitness.
