Since the actualizing of the Curriculum Standard of Physical Education and Health, it has aroused great echo in broad fundamental educational units. The gym teachers appraised about this variously. Some middle schools made useful attempts and valuable exploration, while some middle schools'teaching was in stagnation even in degradation. What's the matter then? This paper explored and went behind, trying to research and discover the essential problems under the superficies and put forward some consulted suggestions for the reform of the fundamental education and consummating the Curriculum Standard of Physical Education and Health. In order to supply for the professional reformers of P.E. and the experts of Curriculum Standard Team and the P.E. scientific research staff to consult to strengthen the exploration and research of the truth problems and make out more scientific, reasonable and effective theory to instruct the practice.
