| "Physical Education and Arts two adds one items"is an experimental project initiated by the Physical Education and Arts department of ministry of Education in 2004 carried out in fifteen after school style work models throughout the country. In this project, through organizing instructive activities of Physical Education and Arts, the authorities of schools assure each student to grasp two items of Physical Education and one of Arts during their study of nine-year-compulsory-education period in order to set a good foundation for the comprehensive development of them. This project advocate combine rational education of gymnastic knowledge with athletic activities, enhance the sports consciousness, cultivate in students habits and abilities to take part in sports in rational time and places insistently, thereby, carry out the original intention of lifetime Physical Education.
