Since 1980s, as the branch of Human Ecology, Cultural Ecology has been wide-ranging concerned by people. Initially, Cultural Ecology researched the relationship of human culture and environment, but now, Cultural Ecology is the study of the ways in which culture is used by people to adapt to their environment. Using the Cultural Ecological ideas and researching methods in social scientific fields research have become a breakthrough in methodology. It is also a meaningful attempt to introduce Cultural Ecological ideas and thought into the research of the pedagogical problems.By various methods of document analysis and inquiry, this study tires to take the Cultural Ecology as the basic research perspective, finds out the present conditions of Lahu nationality teacher's professional development, analysis the peculiarities of Lahu nationality teacher's professional development, approaches the efficacious tactics of minority teacher'sprofessional development from the Cultural Ecology's point views and methods.This dissertation consists of six parts:Part one, introduction. It elaborates the reasons, thoughts, methods and conception of this research.Part two, the relationship between the Cultural Ecology and teacher's professional development. It expounds the basic conception of Cultural Ecology, and analyzes the relations of Cultural Ecology and teacher's professional development.
