Education on thoughts must be paid more attention in new curriculum enhancements. That history curriculum in senior high school must emphasize the development of students' ideation has been put forward in History Curriculum Criteria of Senior High School. Education on thoughts is a complex matter. History Curriculum Criteria of Senior High School doesn't tell us the practical operation modes of how to cultivate students' critical thoughts in teaching history or which aspect to pay more attention. Therefore it is a realistic task to combine experimental schoolbooks to find out practical operation modes. The essay aims at the characteristics of this subject and chooses a special point of view of thoughts, that is, critical thoughts to research. It discusses several questions about cultivating students' critical thoughts in teaching history. As far as the essay is concerned, education on critical thoughts must be paid more attention in teaching history in high school;it is the key qualification in educating students' critical thinking for teachers being the model of critical thinking;it is a practical way for teachers to find out the conclusions and the reasons, analyze consequences, get a reasonable conclusion, apply the critical thoughts to practice as well. All the examples are chosen from four different experimental edition schoolbooks and it is a new experiment in exploring new modes of curriculum enhancements.
