As an essential thinking,critical thinking determines the quality of history education.In order to enhance the quality of history education and keep up with current history reform trend,historical discipline pays more and more attention to critical thinking.This paper seeks to study on how to cultivate students' critical thinking on the base of previous studies.In order to better promote the history curriculum reform and development process for the development needs of history.Author used historical evidence as method and means in the history education,which belong to the five core history research skills,to cultivate students' critical thinking.This full text can be divided into four parts except the introduction and discussed in two aspects: theory and practice,The first part is mainly to explain the conceptions of historical evidence,critical thinking and the relationship between these conceptions.Firstly,the definition I used in this article was explained.After that,I have proved historical evidence is an important way to form analytical thinking and the acquisition of critical thinking is the historical evidence itself,from the perspective of history education and pedagogy,as an important goal to be attained at the methodology.The second part is an investigation of present situation.The first is an survey of students' analytical thinking acquisition,which is mainly conducted in the form of questionnaire.Then through interviewed with teachers to understand the use of historical evidence in practice.The third part was founded on historical data,elaborating the preconditions and basic principles in the process of cultivating students' critical thinking.According to current standards of history,the ability of using empirical evidence of historical materials were divided into four different levels.Critical thinking is composed of three parts: thinking skills,spirit and critical self-regulation and monitoring ability.The four levels of empirical historical data were corresponding to cultivate the basic skills of critical thinking,questioning spirit,analysis,argumentation and reflection ability.
