In the first half of 20th century, the development of domestic ordinary elementary and middle schools' science education has had multiplied education effect. And there are very influences in promoting schools' status, transforming education system and the raising goal, renewing the teaching content.This paper take the time as the division standard to introduce the survey of our domestic ordinary elementary and middle schools' science education, the time mainly divided in three stages: 1922-1927,1927-1937,1937-1949. The sructures of content in these three stages are nearly same. It can be introduced in three aspects. The one is promulgating the environment of ordinary elementary and middle schools' science education, which mainly refers the environment constitution by the policy, the law and the regulations. The second is elaborating and analysing the character and insufficiency of different stages in the history evolution of the science education in ordinary and middle schools by the concrete establishments of the science curriculum and all the correlation factors in science teaching. The third is elaborating the safeguard measures and its influence of the ordinary elementary and middle schools, which include two aspects: scientific teachers and scientific equipment. This article in the process of elaboration ,make every effort to inspect these important problems that is in the science education in ordinary elementary and middle schools to promulgate its historictity,complexity and long-term characterristic.
