Since half of the 20th century, such issues as teachers'professionalization, and teachers'professional quality and progress all have been increasingly concerned in the advocating voices of promoting educational qualities. Good teachers are very necessary for good education, and it is not except for children's education. Preschool teachers'professional growth is a dynamic and multi-stage process. The period of new teacher is a key stage for teachers'professional development. However, viewed from present practice in China, the process of teachers'professional development is often neglected at the entry stage for preschool teachers. Most of new preschool teachers have only experienced process of natural maturity, and are lack of valid guidance, consciousness of professional growth and specific professional growth targets. Therefore, this thesis focuses on professional growth of new preschool teachers as the subject of research.This thesis chooses new preschool teachers in Urumqi city as the researching object, and takes the method of questionnaires survey and interviews, which aims at finding out situation and problems of professional growth of new preschool teachers in Urumqi objectively by demonstrating investigation, which in order to enable new teachers to realize fully that characteristics and laws of professional growth of themselves and can be involved in their own development actively, and provide advice and solution for the institution of preschool teacher education and supervisors of kindergarten who can effectively help and promote new teacher's professional growth .In research, main parts of investigation are included: basic situation of new preschool teachers in Urumqi, personal factors and organization environments which affect professional growth of new preschool teachers. Investigations in personal factors are carried out from four aspects followed: (1) occupation satisfaction and sense of self-identity;(2) motivation of professional growth;(3)needs of professional growth;(4) Self-awareness of professional growth; while investigations in organization environments are carried out from four aspects followed :(1)providing resources;(2)building system ;(3)carrying...
