Quality education is currently an important subject in the field of education, one aspect of basic education reform is how to transform from the examination-oriented education to the quality of education. The transition of college education to quality education is social progress, symbol of economic development, and also a reflection of a country's overall strength. This society is a competitive one, the competition between countries is the national strength, and the competition of the national strength is also the competition of the overall quality of the people, education must be the first to develop national qualities. The test aims at accelerating the pace of reform of higher education, and makes a modest contribution to the development of quality education.The text has five parts. The first part, the author in-depth analyzes the quality, features and content of quality education. The second part obtains from the theory basis and the reality basis of quality education, elaborates the necessity to put forward the quality education, and introduces the content, the characteristic and the primary mission of quality education. The third part analyzes current situation of quality education, and point out the problem and reason in the developing process of quality education. Part four has enumerated the reform and the innovation of some developed countries in quality education. The goal lies in inquires new measures about our university quality education. In the fifth part, the author combines successful examples of quality education in colleges and universities of developed country and our successful colleges, put forward my own views and ideas on guiding ideology, operational mechanism and management mechanism.
