《Shanghai Public Middle School Course Proposal (based on experimental results)》 has clearly pointed out that by applying Information Technology (IT) in the entire process of course planning, implementation, assessment and administration, not only it will closely integrate IT and a course, it will also enable IT to become the communication platform, data resources, perception tool, and administration method. As a result, it will improve class clarity and students' skills in attaining information. Nevertheless, in language and literature pedagogy, IT has not fully realized its potentials, and has often only become an electronic board. Even though a teacher may have a wealth of experience and broad knowledge, often it is still hard to cope with IT requirements and thus, the conventional method is preferred. Due to some circumstantial restrictions during teaching a lecture with wide scope and deep content, the teacher can hardly use the current class multimedia.
