After the rise of constructivism learning theory, how to learn becomes the focus of educators and becomes an important research subject in the field of education. Papert's constructionism is a learning theory that Based on the constructivism. As a mathematician, a computer scientist, and a psychologist, Papert conducts a lot of practices on education, especially the logo programming language he created has an important influence on the global education and the cyber realm. This thesis tries to give a close research on Papert's constructionism.This thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly focus on the concept definition, the recent research status on the subject, the research methods and the research significances.The second chapter is the main part of the study. Mainly included the theory foundation:Piget's constructivism, Dewey's pragmatism research, Bruner's discovery learning theory and Lave and Wenger's situated cognition theory; the main content of Papert's constructionism:about knowledge construction and about learning culture; the features of Papert's constructionism:the constructiveness of knowledge, the highly situation-dependance, the interaction of learning activities; the comparative analysis of Papert's constructionism and Piget's constructivism.The third chapter, the practice cases analysis based on Papert's constructionism and the characterristics of learning environment guided by Papert's constructionism.The fourth chapter, the Papert's great significance to our education.
