On Education And The Good Life Of Human Being

Good life means a satisfying life condition on the whole. As human is always discontent with present condition and seeks perfection, so good life means a life condition that is better than real life. Good life exists rationally,it provides an ideal guide for human to strive for and drives them to improve their real life. The pursuit of good life reflects the superiority of human. Since modern time, the misuse of human ration blocked man's soul and irrationalized human. Human is at a loss before seemingly rich choices. What kind of life is valuable? Where does the meaning of life exist? While modern people forget those questions, their importance is demonstrated by the vast and hazy of modern people. As education is an activity that is started at human and their life, it is inevitable for education to pay close attention to the good life of human.This thesis falls into three parts:The first part,the comprehension of good life: ideal tendency. This part expounds the meaning and the value of good life, and the requirements for obtaining it. Good life is comprehended as ideal life and possible life, it criticizes present, exceeds reality and brings human spiritual enjoyment. Freedom, morality, creation and aesthetic judgment are required for obtaining good life.The second part, pursuing good life: the commonality of human and education. This part clarifies why education should look after the good life of human. As pursuing for better life is the existent way of human; education is the cultivation activity centered on human; education is one of the life style of human; education is an independent view; so the good life of human becomes the eternal subject of education.The third part, expecting and promoting good life: the eternal subject of education.
