The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the development of normal education model and adaptability between normal education model and the society at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republican.The normal education generated and developed with the development of the modern industrialization. In the process of social change, with the development of politics and economy and the influence of the western culture. China started to changing the feudal education and improving the modern education. Therefore, the absence of teachers became the port of the new education.From (the end of the Qing Dynasty) to (1912), the generation of Chinese normal education based on the development of Chinese politics and economy. To embody, In managerial system, the independent setting and centralized management applied to the requirement of the government control education; In student management, the contact of supporting by government and servicing for education after graduation guaranteed the quantity of preservice teachers; In curriculum, they combined the education curriculum and subject curriculum, and paid attention to differentiation and join, furthermore, the affiliated middle and elementary schools were geared to the needs of practical ability training. On the other hand, there were some problem s of social adaptability of the neoteric normal education model, such as: the conflict between modern education and old political system, the conflict between a felt want to teachers and educational fund, the unsuitability between the development of modern education and the low social status of teachers. The modern Chinese normal education generated and developed with these conflictsAny education model has it's inevitability and rationality in it's generation and development.
