The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the development of normal education model and adaptability between normal education model and the society at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republican.The normal education generated and developed with the development of the modern industrialization. On the other hand, there were some problem s of social adaptability of the neoteric normal education model, such as: the conflict between modern education and old political system, the conflict between a felt want to teachers and educational fund, the unsuitability between the development of modern education and the low social status of teachers.
