| Local normal universities are the backbone of realizing the modernization of teacher education and have made important contributions to the development of basic education in China.Some local normal universities excessively pursue comprehensiveness,large-scale,and high-level education,which to some extent reduces the quality of teacher education and is not conducive to the highlighting of local normal university normal culture and the high-quality development of basic education in China.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed the strategy of "implementing the strategy of revitalizing the country through science and education,strengthening the support of talent in modernization construction",endowing China’s higher education industry with a new strategic position,historical mission,and work pattern.Combining the era background of the modernization of teacher education,strengthening the highlighting research of normal culture in local normal universities has important theoretical significance and practical value.This study is based on the laws of internal and external relations in education and the theory of cultural composition,to explore the highlighting issues of normal culture in local normal universities.Based on the relevant concepts of normal,culture,and university culture,as well as the background of the modernization of teacher education,the author believes that normal culture is a special unity of material or intangible forms of culture formed through long-term accumulation in the cultivation or training of vocational teachers,based on the normal tradition,with the aim of cultivating highquality teachers in the future,and with the goal of improving the quality of teacher education.For the convenience of research,Pang Pu’s "three-level" cultural composition theory is cited as the theoretical basis,with the normal spirit as the inner layer structure,normal activities,management,and systems as the middle layer structure,and normal material state as the outer layer structure,to construct a conceptual model of normal culture for local normal universities.Through investigation,it was found that the construction of normal culture in H Normal University is at a good level.Therefore,based on the basic characteristics of normal culture,the author further synthesizes the problems existing in the spirit,physical state,activities,management,and system of local normal culture in normal universities,and proposes highlighting strategies for local normal culture in the context of modernization of teacher education.Firstly,it should be based on the demand side of normal subjects,Strengthening the educational role of normal spirit;Secondly,we should focus on improving quality and efficiency to improve the content quality of cultural educators;Thirdly,in order to modernize teacher education,the advanced level of the normal system should be improved;Fourthly,we should strengthen the pedagogical nature of teacher education and practice the practical spirit of classroom teaching;Fifth,leverage the supply side of local resources to highlight the local characteristics of normal culture.At present,there is not much research on the highlighting of normal culture in local normal universities.The innovation of this study lies in proposing the concept of normal culture,constructing a constitutive model of normal culture in local normal universities,and based on investigation and analysis,proposing highlighting strategies for normal culture in local normal universities in the context of modernization of teacher education. |
