Children's Right is a global concern, within which there is a question of Children's Participation. Children's participation means that children have the right to participate in all social issues related to them. This is decided by both the objective factor—social development and the subjective factor—children growth.Curriculum decision, as one of the most important issues of school education, is closely related to children's future development. Children's participating in curriculum decision is firstly required by the Children's Participating Rights; also, it is beneficial for improving schools; further, it can be seen as one part of the citizenship education, which can cultivate students' sense of democracy. This Article addressed the question of children's participation in curriculum decision by studying literatures from both China and abroad, and also by a simple interview study towards a common junior middle school in a middle-sized city in China. Through these studies, the article reviewed the histories and the realities of children's participation and curriculum reforms in both China and other countries, especially in China which is currently carrying on the New Curriculum Reform, and analyzed the related theories and practices, challenges and opportunities. At the end of this Article, the author summarized the deficiencies of this study, based on which the spaces and the suggestions for further studies were given out.
