The development of Chinese women's subject consciousness (CWSC) not only inherited the tradition but also inosculated the zeitgeist. It reflected and retroacted the advancement of society and was regarded as to be a historical level in the new Era. It is reasonable to study the transformation of CWSC in the new Era because of their profound social meaning in theory and practice.I tried to unscramble the theoretical connotation of CWSC and trace its historical track from passive disillusion to voluntary development. Then, I analyzed the subject/object factors and obstacles of influencing the formation and development of CWSC after I reviewed the present condition. Those factors, which include the improvement of self-awareness of Chinese women, women's protection by socialistic political and law policy, the changes of society and women's lifestyle, and the influence of occidental Feminism and etc. were involved in this paper. Of course, I also approached the social meaning of transformation of CWSC, which will not only inspire women's ideas of"self-respect, self-confidence, self-support and self-strive"and wake women's spirit of developing in an all-round way, but also accelerate the social development in a harmonious way.
