Nowadays the human society is becoming an economic-cultural era based on information and intelligence resources. On a large scale, the economic and national power competition in the world is a science-technology competition. Thus there brought forward an imperious issue to our teaching staffs: How to improve the citizens' science diathesis? Then the integration science curriculum was set up during the educational reform in our country. This is a new subject in our country. It covers a lot of knowledge of different subjects and is involved in nine-year compulsory education. To the teachers of this subject, it is no doubt an arduous challenge. The teachers face to juvenile of twelve or thirteen years old with strong curiosity and hearty desire of learning. They are undergoing physiological and psychological change rapidly. The teachers should not only possess the knowledge and teaching skills, but also use them freely. Besides, the style of this course is new to us all. The teachers should have a lot of teaching technology and methods of this course and use them appropriately. Thus the teachers should accumulate, summarize and reflected in the daily teaching actions and gradually sum up a suit of teaching strategies of this subject. I am aiming at this issue to do this research.This thesis is about the teaching strategies study of junior middle school science curriculum from both theoretical and practical aspects. The literature method, teaching experiment, education investigation and education case method were involved in this research.I emphasized particularly on literature research during the first half of this research, I used some modern intelligence theories, the constructive educational theory, modern brain science theory and post-modern curriculum theory for reference to summarize seven intelligent aspects of which the students should be developed in the junior middle school science curriculum. They are natural observation intelligence, bodily operation intelligence, linguistic intelligence, logical & mathematical intelligence, visual& spatial intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, existential valuation intelligence. Besides over ten years of teaching practice, the author studied the teaching strategies handed down by the former experts and proposed the appropriate ones for the science curriculum. They are group cooperation research, arranging the class teaching according to the contents types etc.I emphasized particularly on teaching experiment during the second half phase. I use the two text books of (oxford shanghai edition) to carry through the teaching experiment research. During the teaching experiment, I used the productions made during the first half phase. To develop the seven intelligences of the students, the author used the group cooperation research strategy throughout the whole teaching process.
