China and Korea are neighbours bordered in Yellow sea, both located in Asia economic zone. The economic cooperation and labour exchange are booming. The total trade up to 5800 billon $ in 2003, including 3570 billion $ import from Korea to China. China became the largest export market of Korea; 88% the surplus of trade of Korea owing to China; both China and Korea belongs to eastern cultural background which is similar. There are many things can be learn each other, in spite of different languages.The incomes per capita are similar and both China and Korea has cheap labours. But why Korean economic developed faster? That owing to 'cheap labour plus high level professional education' according to western's view. So we need to study systematically on Korean professional education.The experience of Korean on high level professional education attracted Chinese scholars. However, their research focused on the educational development and education methods. They emphasised on practice but theory, history but reality, and general education but special education. This thesis compared the professional education between China and Korea on the basis of macro and micro, theory and practice, general and special, history and reality, and common andapplicable. The aim is to improve Chinese professional education.This research focus on the comparison of professional education (PE) between china and Korea by four aspects. Fist, emphasizing the analysis of status, development, present situation and trend of PE in Korea, then concluded the successful experiences; second, emphasizing the analysis of development, present situation and trend of PE in China, then concluded that conformation ways; third, comparison between China and Korea on PE, which focus on the correlation between PE and economic development, objection, development and present situation of PE; fourth, concluded by comparison, the PE development ways and methods were suggested, which is renovate view and thinking ways, shift from enlarge university enrollment to develop PE, concern on both quantities and qualities, make sure that ratio of popular high education and PE is 1:1, renovate PE candidate recruiting ways, shift it from high school recruiting to appropriate recruiting, so to promote primary and high PE development, given advantageous policy investment.This thesis adopted methods of history, comparison, theory, macro-reason, examples comparison and back ground comparison to conduct the analysis.
