Research On School-based Professional Development In Poverty-stricken Rural Areas

Teachers are essential factors to the development of education. With the development of school-based professional development theory, many researchers focus on how to develop teachers on the basis of schools theoretically and practically. Few researches pay attention to the comprehensive utilization of all school-based professional development strategies. It is proved that various strategies can promote teachers' professional development. This paper tries to analyze how to develop teachers effectively with the comprehensive utilization of various school-based professional development strategies.This paper makes a case study on the teachers of Liushao middle school.
