Reforms in Chinese language teaching have been carried out in different aspects, and achievements have been made. But problems such as low efficiency in teaching still remain unsolved. The real reason is that what we are doing now is to some extent not on the right track of the teaching theories. Instead of providing the chances for students to think, understand, and experience, we teachers tend to explain everything in detail. Therefore, we pay too much attention to giving the students some knowledge, but less attention to training the students' ability of using the knowledge they learn. Besides, in the teaching process, we focus much on conclusion itself, but ignore the steps of how to get the conclusion. What's more, mechanic and repetitive drills affect the students' interest in Chinese language learning, thus their Chinese language learning can be hardly improved.Based on the consideration of the characteristics of the Chinese language teaching, the regular pattern of the students' learning, this thesis points out the enforcement of students' understanding, experiencing in the whole process of learning, to make the students actively participate the learning activities, to improve their ablity of Chinese language learning.Learning through pratice and coming to realize accord with the lawof cognition in Chinese teaching. It emphasizes that "being immersed in Chinese and having an intimate knowledge of the language". We are able to feel and comprehend the connotation and appeal of the works , get new experiences, through the accordance of the surface meaning of language and connotations the work conveyed Otherwise, it only can be said that we just know or understand the works' content, features, style and so on, but the true artistic essence of the works can not be really grasped, and the accomplishment of improving students' Chinese is unable to be realized.Teachers should guide the students to gain knowledge, develop emotion and bring about reflections in the ways such as accumulating, coming to realize and learning through practice. This can not only enrich students' knowledge structure of Chinese, but also improve their Chinese moreover, we can lay the firm foundation for students' sustainable development.
