Facing the challenge of the knowledge economy, educators now have the common goal of the current education which is to cultivate talents who possess both technology in science and qualities in humanity. With the overall promotion of quality-oriented education,composition teaching in senior middle school must adapt to the general educational request made by our country and the society, and put emphasis on reforming our teaching methods in order to open up a new vista.This text investigates and analyses the current situation of composition teaching in senior middle school ,the ubiquitous questions are: students are not interested in compositions and are in passive status;students' entity can not be paid attention to. The teacher is " protagonist " in composition teaching, the efficiency of composition teaching is quite low. The reasons of these questions are as follows: on one hand, it is affected by the traditional composition teaching thoughts, on the other hand , it is affected by exam-oriented education, teachers and students have not found their's own positions accurately .Then the next puts forward the corresponding measures. In the writing, teachers should correctly dredge the non-benign psychology in student's writing , pay close attention to the society, pay close attention to students' personality , face the impacts on students of various kinds of social ideological trends and give the guidance in students' writing, thus improve students' writing ability and writing level. In composition correcting , we implement the teaching methods which emphasize on teachers' leading factor and guide the students to correct their's composition each other. This waymade the traditional meathod with which mainly teachers correct the compositions changed into a new one with which the compositions are corrected by both teachers and students i.e. interdynamic comments, thus we can arouse student's enthusiasm . Combining with the theoretical research we have practised this teaching meathod in NO.1 Middle School in Linhe Inner Mongolia for many years.We have gained very good results and verified its feasibility.
