The twenty-first century is one bring forth new ideas, the new century needs creative people, and creative people requires creative education. The society is now coming into high technology information era in which creative work is the most important type of working. The creative work has brought forward new requirements for school education and teaching at the same time, and it is an important task to foster the students' creativity.The stage of middle school is the key period of the development of students' thinking. It will be essential for them to have creativity and creative thoughts whether they have primary creative intension and creative thinking during this period.At some sense, putting forward a question is more important than solving a problem since creation originates from question, and question is the engine of thinking. In order to protect and develop students' intension of questioning, problem teaching is the main path to train the students' creativity. Questioning is the basis of creative thinking and creative activity. A British scientist said that the accumulation of science knowledge always begin with a question and end with another question, much deeper questions and questions which can elicit new questions. Thus, putting forward question is the premise of scientific discovery and research work, the core of creative thinking.In this paper the strategies to train students' creative thinking in problem teaching were discussed theoretically and practically. 1. To create the space of innovation by creating relationship of democracy, equality and freedom between teachers and students. 2. To induce student to question is the efficient way to develop students' creative thinking. 3. To stimulate creative thinking by forming the atmosphere of questioning. 4. To activate students' initiative thinking by using well-chosen questions, and to train the students' creativity in training of questioning sense. The purpose of this paper is to initiate the creative motive and creative thinking in the process of teaching, to foster a habit of thinking by oneself, questioning and discussion and solving problems, and to lay a substantial foundation for their life long study and development.
