I illustrate the middle school Chinese text in the post-modern context in terms of two factors: One is the illustration of middle school Chinese text being more and more criticized because of the abuse of technism and authorism. The other one is "post-modern" which sparks plug multiple elements ,open-minded and creative thinking. I adopt the post-modern theory to illustrate the middle school Chinese text in order to eliminate shortcoming. And I establish a new style of illustration of the middle school Chinese text.Hence I illustrate the text from criticize to restructure.First I scan the present situation of middle school Chinese text in sight of criticize. Technism analyses the text partly and stiffly. And authorism adopts unitary method and discourse hegemony to illustrate the text. These two illustration styles not only make the text lose the abundant connotation but snuff out students' creative thinking.After that, I restructure the text in the post-modern context from four aspects: The first one ,the premiss of illustration is changing the traditional text conception .That is, text is not equal to author's original work or teaching material edited by textbook editor, but an open system readers participate in. The second one, the base of illustration is the redefinition of language. Namely, language is indefinite and multiple meanings. But the essence of the text is language. So text illustration should be good at finding out the "blank" in the text. The third, the approach of illustration is conversations included two layers, between illustrator and text, among illustrators. The conversations is equal, open-minded. The significance of text is presented in the procedure of the conversations. The fourth one, illustration is achieved under the multiple elements. Because the text is indefinite and open-ended besides the readers' historic and subjective understanding. Therefore I illustrate the text from its meaning and construct.Even more I discuss the misunderstanding of the text illustration ---over multiple elements. I hope I can help develop the text illustration healthily from this thesis.
