| Based on the analysis of educational evaluation, this paper points out the malady that the traditional educational evaluation only pays attention to the verbal-linguistic intelligence and logical-mathematical intelligence and neglects the other intelligences due to the bondage of traditional intelligence concept. The modern educational goal is to promote the all-round development of people and the educational evaluation pays more attention to the development of students, which has been an important task in the educational research. An overall understanding of intelligence concept is a fundamental request to this goal. Theory of multiple intelligences, developed by American psychologist Howard Gardner, elucidates the intelligent structure in a brand new view and gives a multiple views to evaluate students with this new intelligence concept. The theory has profound effect on modern education and instruction and how to put it into education practice has been a hot research issue. This paper puts emphasis on the application of the multiple intelligences evaluation in the instruction practice and has the research goal of establishing an operational evaluation scale. The paper has five sections, which are the understanding of educational evaluation, theory of multiple intelligences and its evaluation, the establishment of multiple intelligences evaluation scale, the experimental research of multiple intelligences evaluation and examination and shortcoming. According to the behavior of students, the powerful features of eight intelligences have been mined and abstracted. The declarative scale and tabular scale have been established in the practice of education. Some of evaluation scales has been put into educational practice. Analysis of experimental data has been done according to the experimental data. |
