Construction of teachers' virtue is always a pop topic in teacher -s' development. A person who becomes a teacher should first hav-e noble teachers' virtue. Competition of comprehensive national power in the world today is on earth the competition of people's quality, i.e. the competition of talent. Therefore it is urgent to improve whole people's quality and develop a group of excellent talent than any time before. Teachers' quality and teachers' occupational virtue have been concerned by the society. This article discusses about construction of teachers' virtue-key to the basis of educating teachers in four parts.The first part analyzes problems of teachers in higher school on five points,and analyzes current situation as well as disadvantagees of teachers' virtue. Along with the reverse influence of market economy and extended enrollment for many years in higher schools higher-school teachers' quality has tended to be lowered. Therefore education has been one of the three affairs (education, medical care, housing) which people concern most. To receive good higher educat -ion has been pursuit of the society, parents and students. The key role inmanaging a school is the teacher.
