Since ancient times,teachers' morality is at the commanding point of social moral development.It is a moral example of a society and a model of the times.It can be described as a representative of the Tao,a model of virtue,and an incarnation of rites.At present,the study of teachers' morality and virtue is mainly discussed from the macro level.There are not many researches study on the quality of teachers in primary and secondary schools,the actual situation of teachers' morality,and the reasonable attribution,according to the reality of teachers' moral dilemma and their actual needs,which are very relevant and feasible to the reality of teachers' education and life in primary and secondary schools;This paper mainly analyzes the present situation of virtue quality of primary and secondary school teachers through field investigation and analysis,it deepens the connotation,characteristics and value significance of virtue quality of teachers,analyzes several typical virtue quality content of teachers,and at the same time provides more effective ways and strategies for promoting the cultivation of virtues of primary and secondary school teachers.On the basis of the previous research,it explains the most important virtue qualities that primary and secondary school teachers should possess,mainly from the four aspects of educational love,educational justice,educational responsibility,and educational rationality.It is also an educational virtue that educators should have and earnestly practice in daily educational practice activities and classroom teaching.The article further explains the characteristics and significance of the teachers' virtue in primary and secondary schools: demonstration,internality,self-discipline,stability and transcendence,and it can promote the improvement and development of individual teachers and improve the effectiveness of teaching;Improve the professional quality of teachers and build a happy teaching life;Promote the development and cultivation of the learner's moral behavior.According to the author's field classroom observation,interviews and questionnaire survey,it is found that the present situation of teachers in primary and secondary schools is not very satisfactory.Some teachers' responsibility for educating people is not strong,there is an emotional lack of educational love,educational justice and rationality need to be improved,and the lack of teachers' moral consciousness and consciousness of life and other issues.In view of the difficulties faced by teachers' virtue,this paper analyzes and summarizes the internal and external factors that affect the development of teachers' virtue in primary and secondary schools,such as the external reasons in terms of society,times,and schools,as well as the internal reasons of primary and secondary school teachers themselves,such as the ambiguity and lack of ethical roles of educators,the lack of teachers' moral wisdom and teaching moral consciousness,and the lack of personal belief and spiritual motivation.Finally,the article puts forward some effective ways to cultivate the virtue of primary and secondary school teachers.First,we should reconstruct the social atmosphere of “respecting teachers and stressing education”,advocate the correct view of teacher and teachers' virtue,and set up a scientific and complete and effective incentive mechanism to effectively improve teachers' social status.The second is to organize teachers to study excellent moral teaching cases,give full play to their exemplary role,strengthen teachers' professional ethical and moral training,and improve the spiritual realm of teachers' education;The third is to improve the humanistic education management system and create a good campus culture and moral atmosphere;The fourth is to awaken the sense of responsibility ethics and virtue of the community of teachers,and to strengthen the moral goals and ethical ideals of “good” teachers;Fifth,by adhering to the educational goal of “good”,practicing the teaching process of “good”,gradually improving and sublimation in reading,leisure life,and daily practice,the cultivation and nurturance of the teacher's life virtue are promoted in the pursuit of the cultivation of “cautiousness”.
