The fundamental purpose of education is to help people turn towards good,which depends on teachers.The teacher profession is a specialized profession for the public mission of education.The development of education is inseparable from teachers.To a great extent,the quality of education depends on the teachers.The work of teachers deeply affects the future of children and the development of society.Teachers as the key subject of educational practice,their activities should be a kind of virtue practice.This undoubtedly requires the teachers to have enough virtue.However,affected by the impact of diverse values and instrumental rationality,Teachers' morality has a trend of decline.Facing the present situation,teacher ethics can play a role in certain constraints,but not promote teachers' moral development fundamentally.Only when the teacher produces the value identity of the external standard system,it can be internalized as its own virtue.Teachers' virtue is a kind of excellent quality that teachers stick to the way of teachers and internalize them into themselves through education and teaching practice.This is also an indispensable quality to gain the inherent interests of the practice of education.The virtue of teacher is different from the norm of the external group morality.It has the characteristics of internality,goodness,stability and generation etc.Although teachers' virtue is a reflection of the overall quality of teachers,it is not equivalent to one or several specific virtue entries.However,the analysis of the core virtues entry of teacher morality still has important value for the profound understanding of teachers' virtue.Kindheartedness is the soul of the teacher's morality.It is the emotional basis for teachers to educate students.Without love,there is no education.Justice is the virtue that teachers must adhere to.It is about the vital interests of the students.Wisdom is the key judicious virtue,which is related to the teacher's educational behavior and the choice of value.Creativity is the initiative of teachers in education and teaching activities,which is about the students' creation of quality and ability and the innovation of education.Therefore,Kindheartedness,justice,wisdom and creativity constitute the core virtue entries of teachers 'virtue.Teachers' virtue has great value and significance to teachers and education.Teachers' virtue is the spiritual foundation of teachers 'existence.It is the inner foundation of teachers' so-called teachers.Teacher virtue is the intrinsic requirement of good education.It is also the essence for education to highlight the virtues.The virtue of teacher is not innate.Its formation is not accomplished overnight.It is acquired and generative quality.It is the quality of self-transcendence.Therefore,teachers' virtue needs constant cultivation to develop.First of all,it should follow the basic laws of the cultivation of teachers' virtue,namely,“from Tao to virtue” “respecting Tao and cherishing virtue” “Turn the teacher's way into virtue”.Secondly,teachers should strengthen their self-cultivation.Teachers should constantly improve the subjective consciousness and self reflection ability of teachers' virtue cultivation.Teachers should have a passion for lifelong learning and keep self-discipline.Thirdly,The cultivation of teachers' virtue should be returned to specific teaching practice,because virtue is eventually formed and tested in the practice of virtue.Finally,The cultivation of teachers' virtue is inseparable from the establishment of the norms of the educational system showing the virtues and the environment atmosphere of good teachers' virtue.
