The Talents Cooperation Of Yangtze River Delta: Current Situation And Stratedgic Research

The 16 cities of Yangtze River Delta are the economic core areas of China. In 2002, this region, with its 1.14% land and 6.99% population of the whole country, has contributed 21.01% GDP amounting to 21516.77 billion RMB. In recent years, the integration of Yangtze River Delta region has quickened its speed and regional talents cooperation has become an essential part of this integration. This cooperation has also aroused attention of government at all levels and related enterprises and has already been put into action. After several years' hard work, the target of talents cooperation has become more and more clear, and the effect increasingly obvious. Of course, in comparison with the requirements of Yangtze River Delta regional integration, there still exists a certain gap in the field of strengthening regional talents cooperation. Some problems, such as conceptional and geographical limitations, talents flow obstacles, urgently need to be tackled. These problems will exhaust the cities and bring negative effects on regional integration. Therefore, it is imperative to further study the cooperation measures and optimize human resource integration, improve talents efficiency and form regional resultant force.This paper will, on the basis of referring to the experiences of Pearl River Delta and Bohai Sea Rim, analyze and study the historical progress, current situation, initial effect, existing problems and obstacles of Yangtze River Delta's talents cooperation. It also brings forward ideas and measures of reinforcing Yangtze River Delta's talents cooperation. The paper is composed of four parts, with the main content of each part listed below:Part One gives related definitions and analyzes the background, contents and methods of this research.Part Two gives a review and assessment of the Yangtze River Delta's talents development, progress of talents cooperation and current situation.
