The paper is based on a large number of documents which are surveyed and studied. In the paper, I combine my own teaching practice with teaching theory and analyze all kinds of obstacles which affect student to solve problems in the teaching and learning of senior physics. As a consequence, I put forward some effective measures on how to break through obstacles. These obstacles are: 1.Lack of learning motivation and interest.2.The influence of former concept.3.The defect of knowledge structure.4.Not strong in metecognition ability. 5.The obstacle of thinking. At the same time I do some research on the psychology mechanism of problem solving .In all mere are three forms: 1.The theory of behavioral connection .2.The insight theory of Gestalt principles. 3. e theory of information process strategy.To improve students ability of solving problems effectively, I think it can be carried out from following aspects. 1. Stimulate motivation and train interest.2.Break through the influence of former concept.3.Develop good cognition structure..4. Develop question schema.5. Cultivate the abilities of students creativity and thinking.6. Apply the strategy of problem solving positively...
