In the junior middle school language teaching,modern text reading occupies a large proportion.Modern reading ability includes the comprehensive ability of students such as comprehension,appreciation and thinking ability.For a long time,due to the lack of good modern reading habits and the lack of some reading skills and reading strategies,many junior high school students have weak reading ability in modern literature,which is concentrated in various language tests such as the senior high school entrance examination.In the middle,the scores of modern text reading questions are generally low.This is not only a question of the score of the test papers,but also reflects the deep-seated problems of junior high school students who do not like reading,not reading,and not good at analyzing and thinking.In order to understand the reasons for the weak reading ability of junior high school students,this thesis combines the Zhenjiang City examination papers and the author's own experience of more than 10 years of Chinese language teaching,and takes the students of Zhenjiang Yicheng Middle School as the research object.Under the premise of the investigation of the modern reading status of the students,discover the problems,analyze the reasons,explore effective strategies to improve the reading ability of junior high school students,and try to use the "reading and migration" method to help the junior high school students improve their reading ability in modern Chinese.Can do a good job for the overall improvement of the quality of Chinese language teaching in junior high school.The full text is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,the content is the background,significance and the research status,research methods and main contents of this topic.The second part is mainly about the interpretation of related concepts such as “reading migration” and the theoretical basis of this research.The third part is based on the current situation of the test of the senior high school entrance examination and related investigations,and the problems that students have in modern Chinese reading and some teachers still have problems in reading teaching.The fourth part is based on the analysis of the problems identified in the third chapter,combined with the classification and hierarchical gradient of the reading ability of junior high school students,the targeted implementation of the strategy of reading the migration teaching,and the experiment with the class taught by myself as the main experimental object.result.The last part summarizes the main points of the paper and proposes further thinking.
