Internet is a two-sided sword. People have experienced some of the various benefits of computer networks, and meanwhile, many malpractices caused by Internet have appeared gradually. So the addiction to Internet, a kind of relying on networks resulted from abusing of it, which may be possibly harmful to our study, work, communication and health etc., is concerned firstly.Middle school students are in the key period of healthy and psychological development,and are more liable to become Internet addicts.The addiction to Internet exists in the whole country to some degree which is widely paid attention to by the whole society.In this article we took some middle school students of some middle schools in Nangchang city as the research subjects, adopted the manners of questionnaire, interviews etc., and made a research into the middle school students' on-line behavior and their addiction to Internet.Probe shows that most students can make scientific and rational use of Internet, control their on-line behaviors, ant support their studies and communications.But 11.4% of the middle school students have trend of addiction to Internet. These students rely on computer networks because through which they obtain a sense of self-satisfaction and a feeling of happiness and achievements, and further more, they lose control over their on-line behaviors and stay on line for a long time which have a negative impact on studies and health. Besides, we find some other problems, for example, many middle schools lack quality-education for students, and can not supervise the students' on-line behaviors effectively.Through analyzing, we hold that the factors that influence Internet addiction among middle school students are complex. But on the whole, they can be divided into two categories: intrinsic factors and exterior factors. The former includes middle school students' psychological development characters, special personality characters and so on and the latter includes family education, middle school atmosphere,social circumstances and characteristics of network. Because network settings can satisfy middle school students' diversified and mufti-lever demands which cannot be met in reality, middle school students are induced to be addicted to it.
