The Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Engineering Project Of University

At present, most of the evaluations of engineering projects in university is neither evaluated after the projects have been finished, which do not point at the necessity, risks, sustainability of the project, nor conducted in accordance with the speciality of higher education, of which the signification is not evaluated in more realistic and all-round way. From the perspective of the university, the appraisal system of the engineering projects aims to achieve the proper distribution of the resources in university; standardization of the investment channels and improvement of the project evaluation. The study is an interdisciplinary and preliminary research which applies the theories and methods of achievement evaluation into the engineering projects.The performance evaluation system of engineering project in university mainly includes five parts: necessity evaluation of engineering project in university, economic benefit evaluation of engineering project in university,social effects evaluation of engineering project in university ,sustaining evaluation of engineering project in university and risk evaluation of engineering project in university. The organic combination of these five parts becomes a mutually complimentary whole which supply nineteen scientific and objective indicators for the evaluation of engineering project in university. In order to compare and evaluate these indicators, this thesis uses efficacy coefficient method to process them dimensionlessly; then adopt hierarchical analysis approach to calculate the weighting of them, and establish computer model for assistant calculation, which made the result of comprehensive assessment be more precise, more scientific and more easily to be evaluated.There are five parts in this thesis. The first part is the introduction, which introduces the research background information, the research both at home and abroad as well as the main features of this research. In the second part, the author aims to present the theoretical basis of the achievement evaluation including the related theories of engineering projects in university and the theoretical sources. Part three deals with the design of the evaluation indexes in the aspects of the necessity, economic interests, social profit, sustainability and risks. The fourth part is the strategic analysis of the achievement evaluation which is the essential preparation.
