Research On Core Competence Of Higher Vocational Colleges In China

The researches about core competence often concentrate on the enterprise field, less involve in the higher vocational college. Based on the analysis of issue about progress background and procedure of higher vocational college, this paper introduces core competence into the higher vocational college and set forth that building the core competence is the strategic choice for the college's sustainable progress. According to the methods and ways of enterprise core competence theory, this paper analyzes the core competence of higher vocational college systemically from a new aspect.Firstly, this paper discusses the core competence theory from its meaning, characters, forming mechanics as the basis of theory analysis. Then it brings forward the new concept: higher vocational college core competence (HVCCC) and its meaning, characters, forming mechanics, judging standard, forming factors and feasible analysis. Using the methods of 5P structure and SWOT analysis, it discusses the situation, progress strategy and aim, outside environment, inside progress ability and so on. Then through the mathematic fuzzy synthetic judging method and induction analyzing method, the paper discusses the analysis, identification, cultivation, building structure and creative path. The paper concludes that core competence is the origin and life of higher vocational college's great progress and growth. It is necessary for higher vocational college to pay great attention to the cultivation of core competence from strategic aspect in the foundation of the college. In the end we analyze empirically with the example of Shan Xi Coal Vocational & Technical College.
