Vocational Core Competence Training Of Higher Vocational Students

The State Council Conference on vocational education points out:"strengthening the accumulation of technical skills in vocational education and promoting the innovation of talent training mode".This means the effect of "technical skill accumulation" is actually the process of cultivating the students' professional ability,including core competence,professional ability and comprehensive ability.Therefore,the of professional core competence is of great importance.With the accelerating global economic integration,and increasing social productivity,social management mode changed greatly,as manufacturing talents training's front,higher vocational colleges also need timely adjustments in personnel training,so as to meet the objective needs of manufacturing personnel of industrial development.At present,it has become an indisputable fact that many graduates of higher vocational colleges get diplomas but difficult for them to obtain employment.The main reason is that higher vocational students have failed to master the basic skills required by the profession during the college time,and have failed to possess the core competence of the industry.This has a great relationship with the energy and efforts of the college in the training of talents.In the new era,higher vocational colleges should pay more attention to quality in the practice of talent production,conform to the reality of national development focus and industry talent demand,optimize the school running mode and focus on professional core competencies.This study explores the current situation of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges,takes Changsha Career Vocational College's mechanical engineering major as an case study,through questionnaire survey and interviews to analyze the status of cultivating professional talents,the existence of the comparison between industries and enterprises demand for talent reality,thus to search problem,analyze the causes.This study holds that,in order to meet the needs of the development of the industry,higher vocational colleges have a great responsibility in the training of talents.Therefore,higher vocational colleges should further deepen the reform of talent training plan based on fully considering the problems existing in personnel training,which is consistent with the needs of talents in the development of the state and society.
