The research′s aim of this paper is to promote the accord combination of industry—teaching between secondary vocational schools and enterprises. The combination has proved to be successful home and abroad. The establishment of this combination and resource integration between schools′education and enterprises′material can really promote the development of vocational education and play a practical role in enterprises′operating. This combination is the base of the vocational education, meanwhile its implement is inevitable for the revolution of secondary vocational education.This paper defines the concept of industry—teaching combination, describes basic feature of it and then analyzes main types & basic models on secondary vocational schools′industry—teaching combination. The combination on this paper mainly refers to secondary vocational schools and enterprises co—work to make students master relevant theory & professional skills through studying in the classroom & practical work which can meet different work—unit′s demand for talented persons. With the development of market economical system, the industry—teaching combination′s mainstay is tending to pluralism, mainstay allocation ways according to market orientation. The combination of secondary vocational schools is put into two types: rural and urban. The combination includes four models: schools oriented, vocation educational industrialization, enterprises oriented, schools cooperate with enterprises. On the basis of them, this paper also analyzes the status of secondary vocational schools′industry—teaching combination, in the area of experience and present problems. At the same time, draws inspiration from USA, Germany for our country, gives some approaches & advice on how to improve this combination in China, viz. schools cooperate with enterprises to promote"job—oriented training", operating industry depends on specialties and then it promotes specialties conversely, strengthening training of teachers who have practical skills and strong theory, establishing mutual—benefit &win—win mechanism for combination of industry—teaching etc. In the end, the author illustrates a typical case for references to the practice of the industry—teaching combination for secondary vocational schools.
