Investigation And Research On The Status Quo Of Bad Behaviors Of Current Vocational School Students

As to bad behaviors of juveniles, people often make analysis centering around their representations, characteristics, causes of formation and countermeasures. And the objects of analysis are mostly junior and senior high school students or college students. The cause discussed often involves the behavior doer's internal factors of physics and psychology and external factors of environment and education. But what they discuss seldom involves a special main body -----vocational secondary specialized technological school students (simplified as vocational school students). However, nowadays vocational school students are the vocational labors of the future. Their behaviors and qualities are closely linked to the cause of socialist construction. Therefore, this thesis takes Guilin Vocational Secondary Specialized School of Tourism as an example, and carries out investigation, research and analysis on bad behaviors of current vocational school students.As to what are bad behaviors, scholars from home and abroad have different opinions from different perspectives. In view of the particularity of the objects of this thesis, the author thinks that bad behavior refers to those of the vocational school students which violate routine behavior norms for senior high school students on campus and which will exert adverse influences on their all-round development. (excluding those illegal and criminal conducts).This research mainly adopts means of interview and questionnaires. Through individual interview and collective symposium, the author has had interviews with 32 teachers of Guilin Vocational Specialized Secondary School of Tourism, including 16 teachers in charge of classes ( professional subject teachers and cultural subject teachers are 8 each), and 16 subject teachers ( professional subject teachers and cultural subject teachers are 8 each). It is a general opinion of the teachers that bad behaviors of vocational school students are mainly five aspects, i.e. study-weariness, disrespect for teachers, scuffle, smoking, gambling through card games. Apart from these, the bad behaviors of vocational school students also include wearing hair down, dying hair, wearing jewelry, untidiness, using coarse and dirty words, scrabbling everywhere, damaging public property, puppy love, sex acts, etc. Besides, teachers all think that boy students are naughtier than girl students. In classes in which boys are in majority such as cooking and computer classes, lessons become very hard.On basis of interviews and combining the author's own teaching practise, this thesis divides bad behaviors into three types, i.e. bad class behavior, bad life style and bad morality. Bad class behavior refers to those shown by the vocational school students in classes to violate school norms positively or negatively. Positive bad class behavior can affect or even interfere the normal teaching activities, such as talking, playing cards; Though negative bad class behavior will not affect normal teaching order, it is very adverse to the growth of each individuals, such as dazing or sleeping in classes. Bad life style refers to behaviors of vocational school students in dress, appearance, beer and skittles, money-spending and consumption which do not conform to routine behavior norms of senior high school students, such as smoking, alcohol drinking, and dressing like grown-ups. Bad morality refers to those behaviors of vocational school students in which they seriously violate school discipline and ethics, regard themselves as the center, escape from school and family education and harm the collective or other people, and handicap the formation of good morality and development of themselves, such as scuffle, staying out overnight, contradicting teachers and elders.To gain comparability of the research, this thesis makes comparisons between the 490...
