This article is an exploring research on the phenomenon of feminization of agriculture. The research aimed at finding out the reason why the rural married women massively concentrated in the area of agriculture, as well as the influence to their development.The study finds that the feminization of agriculture is the result of social exclusion. Social exclusion refers to the unfair distribution of social resources and the inequalities of social status, it reflects at the incomplete system of China's social security system, the failures of labor market, social tradition attitudes of discrimination and gender division of labor within the rural family, rural married women are pushed to the edge of the social fabric.The study shows that the feminization of agriculture is unfavorable to the development of women in farming. It will lead to a self-exclusion of women in farming, economic exclusion and the exclusion of a social status and gender exclusion further aggravated, thus forming a vicious social exclusion recycling system for the rural women. Therefore, the study believes that the government should carry out some policies to fight against social exclusion and eliminate the social exclusion on rural women.This paper has the following characteristics: First, this article analyzes and sums up theory of the Chinese and foreign scholars in the social security system in our country, the labor market segmentation, social disadvantaged groups, and social gender, social stratification and the theory of social exclusion, this will help us to understand the weaker position of China's rural women, and the history of the phenomenon of the feminization in agriculture. Second, it uses the case study skill to collect a lot of typical significance information. Third, the theory of social exclusion was built up and developed in western country. This paper applies the theory of social exclusion to study Chinese specific problem, it will help us to well understand the theory of social exclusion. Fourth, this article applied the theory of social exclusion to the study of rural women; it enriches and develops the study theory towards women. It has a practical and significant meaning.
