As pointed out by Dave Ulrich, the most competitive organizations are those who can attract, develop, and retain their talents, in the hi-tech driven and changing commercial world. Therefore, we can foresee a talent war in the future among the commercial organizations. Companies winning the game are those who can successfully attract, develop, and retain the skilled and experienced talents with in-sight, and develop their global market by leveraging the talents.China has been running her own Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for 15 years. The enrollment number increased hundreds of times till now, and today there are more than 60,000 management talents graduated from the program. As the MBA education is becoming more and more sophisticated, the employment opportunities for MBAs also are growing. In the United States, 60% of MBAs work for the largest 1,000 companies, and ? of the executive management of the top 500 enterprises and 50 financial firms has taken the MBA training. It is obvious that will also be the trend for Chinese MBA students in the near future. According to the statistics and estimation, China needs 1.5 million MBAs to achieve the goal of industrialization. What a huge gap! With the increasing demand for MBAs, how can companies find those MBAs fit for the business development? This thesis tries to answer this question by conducting a questionnaire survey in Tsinghua University, and investigating the decision making factors when MBAs are looking for jobs, preference of those factors, and the pros and cons of companies'campus recruitment, regarding the recruitment processes and respective organizations'nature/industry. In the conclusion, the thesis will reveal the key factors that influence the validity of the campus recruitment for MBAs, and lay out strategic suggestions for enhancing the validity. The research methodology of this thesis is a practical reference for companies to conduct campus recruitment for MBAs.
