English is taking one of the most important information carriers with the social economy globalization and the life informationization, its value is prominent day by day. Since September, 2005, New Curriculum has been implementing around our country. Chongqing is the national model big city which raises the rural, the rural region is abroad, and the agricultural population proportion is big. Many factors are effecting on the implementation of English Curriculum in junior schools in rural area of Chongqing. So it is necessary to study the influential factors affecting the implementation of English Curriculum in Junior Schools in rural region of Chongqing. It is a case study to analyze the promoting or obstructing factors affecting the implementation of the New English Curriculum in Junior Schools in rural area of Chongqing .The thesis is divided into five parts:Part one is general introduction. This part presents its background, research problems, literatures review, and theories foundation.Part two is the design of research. This part consists of conceiving of research, methods of research, choosing case, tools of investigation, the samples and contents of observation.Part three is the results of investigation of the present situation of the implementation of New English Curriculum in Junior Schools in rural area of Chongqing. The Present situation of English teachers; head master; students and the English teaching; Support environment are observed.Part four is an analysis of the promoting or obstructing factors affecting on the implementation of English Curriculum in junior schools in rural area of Chongqing. The promoting factors are that the English teachers,headmasters,students are approving the English Curriculum of Reform; Supporting environment of implementation is integrating gradually; parents support children to study English. The main obstructing factors are the English Curriculum, headmaster's role of implementing English curriculum conflict and often fall in embarrassment, English teachers'Professional attainments are not in keeping with the request of English new curriculum in rural, supporting environment of the implementation of English curriculum in junior schools in rural has been not integrated effectively.Part five is suggestion. For promoting the good results of the implementation of New English Curriculum in junior schools in rural of Changing, developing English teachers' professional attainments by fulfilling, strengthening the headmaster's management of implementing new junior English curriculum, developing human resource to make up the lack of Condition English curriculum resources, implementing Availably English curriculum in senior schools in rural, Setting up reasonable Evaluate system as soon as possible, transferring special funds for rural Basic Education, which can promote the level of implementing English curriculum in junior schools in rural of Chongqing .
